Dartrak, the darts scoring app published by Pixware Studio, works without an account. An account only exists if you signed in with Google to back up your games in the cloud and find your friends. This page explains how to delete that account, what is deleted and what is kept.
1. From the app (immediate)
- Open Dartrak and tap the gear at the top of the home screen (Settings).
- Open Account & sync.
- Tap Delete my account, read the message, then confirm.
Deleting needs an internet connection. If it fails (offline, for instance), nothing is deleted: the app tells you so, and you can try again or write to us.
2. By e-mail (without the app)
If you no longer have the app or your phone, write to privacy@pixware.app with the subject "Dartrak account deletion".
- Write from the e-mail address of the Google account you signed in to Dartrak with, or state that address: it is what identifies your account.
- If the message does not come from that address, we will ask you to confirm from it, so that nobody can delete someone else's account.
- We confirm the deletion by e-mail once it is done.
3. What is deleted
- Your account: the identifier, e-mail address, name and profile photo provided by Google when you signed in.
- Your Dartrak profile in the cloud: nickname, level, dart type.
- Every game backed up in the cloud, with its players and each of its visits.
- Your friendships and friend requests, both sent and received.
- The camera reading sent if you had ticked "Help improve the camera".
- The link to your account in the games your friends recorded with you.
4. What is kept
- The data stored on your phone (games, players, statistics, training) stays on the device: Dartrak works offline and does not erase it with the account. You can export it (Settings → Data) or erase it by uninstalling the app or clearing its data in your phone's settings.
- Your friends' games, recorded on their phone or in their own account, remain theirs: you appear in them under the name they typed, with no link to your account any more.
- If your phone's Android backup is on, the local database may also exist in your Google account's backup, which we do not manage (see the privacy policy, §7): you can delete it from your Google account.
- We keep no other copy of your data.
5. Timing
- From the app: the deletion is immediate.
- By e-mail: your request is handled within 30 days at most.
- The automatic technical backups of our hosting provider (Supabase) may still hold a copy for a few days; they are erased automatically, at the latest 30 days after the deletion.
